Microcosmo is a solo project that explores the expressive possibilities of drums and prepared drums. The instrument becomes a means of telling stories and creating evocative soundscapes, suspended and rarefied atmospheres, and magmatic episodes. Microcosmo alternates between original compositions and improvised pieces. The music draws inspiration from the world of dreams, childhood memories, the dream world, but also from the suggestions that small things can offer. In 2021, Microcosmo was released by the British label FMR Records. The album was recorded at Maxine Studio in Milan and produced by Rinaldo Donati.
